3 Int’l filmfests to host ‘Are You Volleyball’ in 2018

Iranian short film ‘Are You Volleyball?!’ has been set to compete at three international film festivals in 2018.

Directed by Mohammad Bakhshi, the short film is to attend three film events in East Asia and America in 2018.

In the first step, the Iranian short film will attend the Bangladesh Film Festival on January 27, 2018. Then it will participate at the New York Film Festival on February 22, 2018. The final step for the flick will be the Hong Kong Film event on March 19, 2018.

The short film tells the story of a group of Arab speaking asylum seekers who have lost their pacifications during the war and are seeking a better place in the world to live in. They arrive on the border and the story starts.

The Iranian short film ‘Are You Volleyball?!’ has so far succeeded to win a number of awards from internationally acclaimed film events such as the Global Film Los Angeles Film Festival in the US and the Milan Film Festival in Italy.
